From idea to capability field
Torsionfield is the implementation projection of epistemic physiology: a field of separately owned, self-describing capability actors that can be discovered, leased, invoked, verified, replaced and revoked.
The scientific surface asks how civilization could metabolize understanding. The system surface asks what durable machinery makes that possible without collapsing every function into one model, one daemon or one provider.
The stable object is the capability contract. Everything underneath it is replaceable.

A durable identity survives process death, transport changes and machine restart.

Inputs, outputs, authority, tests, failure modes and evidence remain explicit.
Operation identity
Retries and reconnects produce one logical effect, not accidental duplication.
Authority lease
Every invocation is bounded, attributable, expiring and revocable by the owner.

Success is what the system can prove happened, not what a command claimed.

CURRENT IMPLEMENTATION FRONTIER
The first living actor
Local Repomix is already live as the first non-tab machine-local capability actor. It exposes bounded repository and file-context operations through an authenticated MCP path while the underlying Windows task, bridge and stdio process remain implementation details.
The next proof is intentionally small and decisive: one remote participant receives a narrow, expiring lease for one RepositoryContext operation, invokes it once, receives the result and evidence, and loses authority immediately when the owner revokes the lease.
